1056 Azalea, provisional designation 1924 QD, is a stony S-type asteroid of the main belt. It was discovered by Karl Reinmuth on January 31, 1924 at Heidelberg Observatory, Germany.
The asteroid is named after the Azalea genus of flowering shrubs.
