"Youth Gone Wild" is the debut single from Skid Row's eponymous debut album.

Its music video received heavy airplay on MTV; however, while the album itself was a major hit and went multi-platinum in the U.S. and other countries, "Youth Gone Wild" as a single only reached #99 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and reached #20 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks.

The song was re-released in 1992 on the B-Side Ourselves album with "Delivering the Goods" single and charted again at #22 on the UK Singles chart.

"Youth Gone Wild" has been covered by several bands including HammerFall, Sign, Norther, and Asking Alexandria.

  • The song is played at many sports arenas including at the United Center when the Chicago Blackhawks hit the ice.
  • "Youth Gone Wild" appears in the video games Guitar Hero: On Tour, Rock Revolution, BrĂ¼tal Legend and WWE 2K16. In addition, the song also appears as downloadable content for Karaoke Revolution Presents American Idol Encore 2 for the PlayStation 3.
