Yerraicheruvu is a village located in Iragavaram mandal of West Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh, India. Yerraicheruvu got its name from a tree on the bund of the village tank.. Yerra Ravi Cheruvu.. once upon a time the village tank (Cheruvu) contains a tree ( Yerra (Red) Ravi chettu ) on its bund. that's how it got its name. Although it is a village, the streets look like a small town. the village lost its Village culture and adopted new trends/ Modern culture. This Village having three hamlets scattered in three corners of the Main Tank. North side of the tank is " Pedda Palem"(main Yerraicheruvu), the northern part is Velupuru palem (as it lies on the way heading Velupuru village), and on southern side is Kavalipuram palem (facing Kavalipuram village).
