Xylocarpus moluccensis is a tree in the family Meliaceae. It is named for the Moluccas archipelago (now Maluku Islands).

Description
Xylocarpus moluccensis grows up to 30 metres (100 ft) tall with a trunk diameter of up to 70 centimetres (28 in). The flowers are creamy-white. The roundish fruits measure up to 11 cm (4 in) in diameter.
Distribution and habitat
Xylocarpus moluccensis grows naturally from the Sundarbans of India and Bangladesh through Indochina and Malesia to tropical Australia. Its habitat is mangrove swamps.
