Xinggong Subdistrict is a township-level division of the north of the Shahekou District of Dalian, Liaoning, China.

History
Xinggong Subdistrict is first and always well known as Xinggong Street or Xinggong Jie (Traditional Chinese: 興工街; Simplified Chinese: 兴工街) because of the important and famous street which Dalian people always call by Xinggong Street instead of Xinggong Subdistrict where Xi'an Road Commercial Zone is. Xinggong Subdistrict was also an important Japanese (Kwantung Leased Territory) machi called by Kasumi Chō (Japanese: 霞町) where Sakakō Jinja (Japanese: 沙河口神社) was.
The area of Xinggong Subdistrict is 4 km2. It has 16 villages/communities like Xingxin Community, and 256 neighborhoods/community groups. Until 2016, the population of Xinggong Subdistrict is 98,304.
Geography
The east of Xinggong Subdistrict is Xi'an Road (西安路), the south of it is Changxing Street (長興街), the west of it is Xinjiandong Street (新建東街), the north of it is Anshan Road (鞍山路). Because of the mistakes of the staff, the guidepost of the Zhongchangdongliu Street was printed as Zhongchangdongwu Street. There is a Korean church in the Xinggong Street., and some old Japanese houses in the Xinggongbeiqi Street
