William Wallace


William Lawrence Wallace (April 12, 1901 in Toronto, Ontario – July 20, 1967) was a Canadian rower who competed in the 1924 Summer Olympics. Wallace’s first athletic passion was rugby football and he played from 1921 through 1923 with the Toronto Argonauts, winning the 9th Grey Cup with them in 1921. In 1924 he won the silver medal as crew member of the Canadian boat in the eights event.
