Professional career

On May 12, 2016, Parks signed with the Broncos. In Week 3 against the Cincinnati Bengals, Parks recorded his first career interception off of a tipped pass, helping to preserve a 29-17 win for the Broncos.

On November 13, 2016, as the New Orleans Saints attempted to win the game with a PAT at the Superdome, and it was blocked by teammate Justin Simmons, Parks grabbed it in midair and ran it in for a 2-point safety, winning the game for the Broncos instead 25-23. A challenge by the Saints, who claimed he momentarily stepped out of bounds, was denied by the referees, with his white shoes matching the color of the sidelines so closely that video evidence was inconclusive, to which Parks replied: “I did ballet when I was 5 years old, so I know I had the balance to stay in.”
