First Greater Manchester's 98 and 135 services both stop on nearby Bury New Road and run between Bury and Manchester with the 98 running via Radcliffe and Prestwich and the 135 service, which runs frequently via Heaton Park and Cheetham Hill. First Greater Manchester also run Monday-Saturday services on the 95 which runs between Bury and Pendleton via Radcliffe, and Prestwich, while First's Sunday service to Pendleton starts from Whitefield, outside the tram stop. Cumfybus's 513 service stops nearby on Church Lane and runs to Bury via Radcliffe and to Bolton via Farnworth.

Improvement works

The station is due to close in April 2017 for a number of weeks for refurbishment purposes. The station will have new shelters and renewed facilities.
