Wada Station (和田駅, Wada-eki) is a railway station on the Ōu Main Line in Akita, Akita, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East).

Wada Station is served by the Ōu Main Line, and is located 285.4 km from the terminus of the line at Fukushima Station.
Station layout
Wada Station has two opposed side platforms, connected to the station building by a footbridge. The route of the Akita Shinkansen runs through this station.
History
Wada Station opened on October 1, 1903 as a station on the Japanese Government Railways (JGR). The station was absorbed into the JR East network upon the privatization of JNR on April 1, 1987. A new station building was completed in February 2003.
