WMJY (93.7 FM, "Magic 93.7") is a mainstream adult contemporary music formatted radio station based in Gulfport–Biloxi-Pascagoula, Mississippi. The station is owned by iHeartMedia, Inc., and they broadcast with an ERP of 100 kW.
Contents
History
The station has it origins as WQID-FM which located to the 93.7 dial position in the 1970s. During the height of the 1980s Top 40 radio, QID rode to the top of the radio waves. A series of ownership changes and format changes ensued and WQID found itself in a ratings slump in the early 1990s. Starr Broadcasting bought the station along with sister AM WVMI in 1994 and changed the format to Soft Rock WMJY, Magic 93.7. The station has been a long-time ratings leader with adults along the Coast. Multi-Market Radio bought out Starr in 1994 and a series of mergers led to iHeartMedia, Inc. (formally Clear Channel Communications) owning the station since 2001.

WMJY broadcast tower is in Jackson County covering all areas far east to Mobile, Alabama and far west to Slidell, Louisiana.

(formally Clear Channel Communications) currently owns and operates the station along with sister stations WKNN, WBUV and WQYZ
