WLFJ-FM is a non-commercial Contemporary Christian music station licensed to Greenville, South Carolina and serves the Upstate, including Greenville and Spartanburg. The Radio Training Network outlet is licensed by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to broadcast at 89.3 MHz with an effective radiated power (ERP) of 41 kW (horizontal) and 37 kW (vertical). The station goes by the name His Radio 89.3 and its current slogan is "Family Friendly - Uplifting and Encouraging." Its sister station is WLFJ-AM, who airs Christian talk programming.

Programming includes music by such artists as Casting Crowns, TobyMac, MercyMe, Michael W. Smith, Mark Harris, Laura Story, Steven Curtis Chapman, Jeremy Camp, Avalon, Toby Mac, and Mark Schultz, as well a few family ministries such as those of Dr. James Dobson and Charles Stanley. However, the station focuses primarily on music programming.

HD radio

WLFJ-FM broadcasts in the HD Radio format.

  • On HD2, the station has His Radio Z, a progressive youth music channel, operated by First Baptist Church of Spartanburg and also broadcast on WHRZ-LP.
  • On HD3, the station has His Radio Praise, a channel that features exclusively praise and worship songs. Both can be listened to online.
  • Translators

    In addition to the main station, WLFJ-FM is relayed by full-power satellite WGFJ in Cross Hill, South Carolina, which serves the western portion of the Upstate, and WWNU in Irmo, South Carolina, which serves Columbia. It also operates 13 translators that bring its signal into portions of the Atlanta, Asheville and Charlotte markets.

    The Charlotte-area translators brand as "His Radio 96.5 and 98.3," and air separate identifications and commercials. Their programming is also repeated on the second HD channel of WOSF in Charlotte.

    His Radio Praise
