Career
He was introduced to the silver screen by Adoor Gopalakrishnan and have done nearly four films in Malayalam and seven in Tamil. He made his acting debut with Ilakkanam under the name Ram, his performance received critical acclaim. It was one of the rare Tamil films where dialogues are written in Tamil only, low key release made the film unnoticed at box office. He appeared as Jeevan's friend in Thotta. He then appeared as one of Prithviraj's friends in Ninaithale Inikkum and as Aadhi's stammering brother in Ayyanar. He did leading roles in Kadhal Meipada and Mai, both films went unnoticed at box office. He then appeared as second hero alongside Power Star Srinivasan in Arya Surya.
