Career
Bessat began his career with FC Toulouse and was in summer 2004 promoted in the reserve team. After 32 games and 4 goals for the reserve of FC Toulouse left Midi-Pyrénées to sign for CS Louhans-Cuiseaux. He played two years for CS Louhans-Cuiseaux and then signed a three years contract with FC Metz. On 11 June 2010 US Boulogne signed the midfielder on a two-year contract from FC Metz. He played for FC Nantes from 2011 to 2015, before joining SM Caen in June 2015.
