Vilayat Cherkessia is a vilayat (province) of the Caucasus Emirate, made up of Adygea and the southern part of the Krasnodar Krai created in 2007. The group came to light during the 2014 Sochi Olympics, due to the threat of attacks. However, no military operations were reported from the group and even since its creation in 2007 no military operations by the group have been carried out.
