Victoria Hotspurs Football Club is a Maltese football club from the town of Victoria, Gozo. Founded in 1948, the club has won a record of 11 First Division titles, the last one being in the 2009–10 season. In 2000, when they won their tenth title, they became the first club to be awarded a Golden Star for Sport Excellence. Nadur Youngsters followed suit when they won 2007–08 season. The Club is popularly known by the Gozitans simply as il-Hotspurs, which literally means The Hotspurs. The club has one of the largest fans on the island. The Hotspurs hold some rivalries, most notably with neighbours S.K. Victoria Wanderers. This fixture is known as the Derby tar-Rabat (the traditional name for the capital city of Gozo). Other rivalries are against Ghajnsielem F.C and Nadur Youngsters.
