Verba maximus 2016 trailer
Verba Maximus (abbreviated VM) is the annual literary festival of BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus. It is a two-day national event, held around the end of January or first week of February every year. Usually, there is a preliminary regional round preceding the national round which happens in a few major metropolitan cities. Four editions of the festival have been conducted over the past four years. There are events in multiple languages. The entire fest is managed by the literary asscociations of BITS- namely ELAS and Hindi Tarang. The regional rounds contain spelling bee and debate.

Events
The competitive events are divided into 4 categories: writing, speaking, specials and miscellaneous. For the 2013 edition, an online writing contest was organized in association with literary website 'Campus Diaries'.
