Football career
In the summer of 2010, Vitor Freitas (known as Barata) went for 2 week trials on both Sporting Club Portugal and Sport Lisboa Benfica.
The following year on August 2011 Vitor Freitas, signed for Sporting Club Portugal at the age of 14. Where he Stayed for 2 years.
On 5 November 2014, Barata made his professional debut with Marítimo B in a 2014–15 Segunda Liga match against União Madeira.
