Uralloor or Urallur is a place near Koyilandy in Kozhikode district in Kerala state, India and is included in the Arikkulam Panchayath.

Living style
Most of the people in the past completely depended on the agriculture. Now the income from agriculture is less and most of the new generation depends on revenue from abroad, hence this area is a strong financial area. Besides there are now doctors, engineers, government workers, and businessmen.
People and politics
This area has witnessed intense political activity both before and after independence. The communist and peasant movements were very active here in the 1940s. A. K. Krishnan Master, who was one of the prominent leaders of communist and peasant movements in Malbar, was from this village. Under the leadership of A. K. Krishnan master Communist party workers have organised struggle against local landlords. Here in 1948 during food scarcity when the ration shop owner was not ready to distribute rice rations, the shop was attacked by communist party workers. People of this side are very innocent and almost all political parties of the state have strong influence. The majority of the people belong to the Communist party (CPIM), then there are strong followers for INC, BJP, IUML, Janadadel, and CPI. The Arikkulam Grama Panchayath is ruled by CPIM but the only opposition is from Urallur and this member is from INC.
Landmarks
Major landmarks of this place includes an UP School named Urallur Mappila UP School, a tile factory named Apsicos and vydya sala named Aranya ayurveda vydyasala.
Urallur Vishnu temple has annual Karpooraradhana in the Mandala season.
Thuruthimukku is a junction about 750m away from Urallur. It is the place where the Koyilandy-Naduvannur road meets the Arikkulam road. The junction consists of a bus stop, a village store and a tea shop.
Transportation
There is regular bus service from Koyilandy New bus stand from 7 am to 9 pm. Koyilandy is one of the major city of Kozhikode district and is placed beside the NH, 25 km away from Kozhikode (Calicut) city. Urallur is almost 8 km from Koyilandy (Bus fare is 7.00 rupees).
There are regular bus service from Koyilandy towards Naduvannur and Perambra which will go through Urallur.
