The Ultima Evolution is a range of sports cars manufactured by Ultima Sports Ltd of Hinckley, Leicestershire, England. It is sold both as a kit, which the buyers build themselves, or as a complete vehicle, built at the factory. The car is mid engined, rear wheel drive, and is available as a coupe or a convertible. The chassis is a tubular steel space frame, and the bodywork is Glass-reinforced plastic.

The factory-assembled car is shipped with a Chevrolet small block V8 and a Porsche transaxle. While this is the recommended power train, kit builders are free to install their own combinations.

The Evolution is available in 15 different engine configurations, the top of the range being a supercharged 6.8l unit producing a stated 1020 bhp. This model is reported to cost around £95,000 GBP.

The manufacturers claim that the performance of the Evolution will be greater than that of the GTR which it replaces, suggesting a 0-60 time of around 2.3 seconds and 0-100-0 time of around 8.8 seconds, though the top speed is likely to be around 240 mph due to gearing limitations.
