Udo Z. Karzi (born June 12, 1970 in Liwa, Lampung) is an Indonesian writer. He graduated from Department of Government Science Faculty of Social Sciences and Political Science (FISIP) Lampung University (1996).

Organizational experience
Once the Chief Editor of Student Newspaper Teknokra (1993-1994), the General Magazine Republica (1994-1996), and Advisor Magazine Ijtihad (1995-1998).
Many draw from the experience of various groups /discussions: Red and White Study Group, Forum for Information and Regional Development Studies (FIRDES), and the Indonesian Islamic Students Movement (PMII).
Members and administrators Alliance of Independent Journalists (AJI) Lampung since its establishment in March 31, 2001.
Journalistic work

Culture work
He called the original writer Zulkarnain Zubairi write this poem, short story, and essays in various local and national media since 1987. Had become Chairman of the Board of Research and Development of Lampung Art Council (R & D DKL) (2005-2006). In 2010, with Y. Wibowo and Nugroho Este established the Publisher Pustaka Labrak, in addition to being editor Publisher BE Press, Bandar Lampung since 2007.
Considered to bring renewal in the tradition of Lampung poetries as seen in the rhythm-Indonesian bilingual Lampung: Momentum (Lampung Education Office, 2002), he called the "father of modern poetry Lampung".
