Ubisoft Pune, legally Ubisoft Entertainment India Pvt. Ltd., is a video game production studio based in Pune, India. The company is owned and operated by Ubisoft. It is one of Ubisoft's South Eastern Asian divisions, along with Ubisoft Shanghai and Ubisoft Singapore. In Times Animage 2009 held at Pune, it was disclosed by Ubisoft officials that the Pune Studio was developing its own games on DS, Xbox 360 and PS3 platforms. Ubisoft Pune has come far since them and have worked on major projects such as Rayman Adventures, Steep, Just Dance series, Splinter Cell Trilogy, Prince of Persia Classic, Prince of Persia the Shadow and the Flame, Far Cry Classic (Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3), South Park: The Stick of Truth (Xbox One and PlayStation 4). Led by Managing director Jean-Philippe Pieuchot, the studio has more than 600 employees that work on job families that range from Quality control, Game Testing, Designing,Communications, IT, Operations and Management.

History
Gameloft established a video game development studio in Pune, Maharashtra in 2006.
Ubisoft announced on 15 April 2008 that it had entered into an agreement to acquire Gameloft's development studio in Pune. At the time of the acquisition, the studio housed a team of 120 developers and game testers. It focuses on porting games to the current generation of consoles and handhelds. As of Now in 2017, Ubisoft Pune has houses more than 600 Employees having different skills that are required at every stage of the game development process. The Pune studio has the second largest Quality control team in the whole organisation safeguarding full testing cycle, compatibility, compliancy on various AAA and mobile titles produced internally.
Quality control
Pune QC has worked on plethora of titles since 2008, to list out the major console titles Pune QC team has worked on are Splinter Cell Trilogy, Rayman Origins, Just Dance [all the iterations from 1st], Rayman Legends, Valiant Hearts, Child of Light, Assassins Creed Chronicles, THE CREW, TrackMania Turbo, Trials Fusion, Splinter Cell Conviction, South Park The Stick of Truth, Watch Dogs 1 & 2, For Honor and Ghost Recon Wildlands. Pune QC has pioneered testing on mobile platform for Ubisoft with a team of 70 dedicated to support majority of Ubisoft Mobile titles for all kind of tests on all mobile platforms. To list out the major mobile titles Pune Mobile QC team has worked are Assassins Creed Rearmed, MotoHeroz, Rayman Jungle Run, Rayman Fiesta, Rayman Adventure, Valiant Hearts, Trials Frontier, Just Dance Now
and NCIS.

Over the years the team have been involved in games across various genres ranging from puzzle, action, platform adventure to racing. Some of the games that were released and were worked on are as follows: Assassins Creed Rearmed, Big Bond Theory, Cosmic Family, MotoHeroz, Prince of Persia Classic, Prince of Persia Shadows and Flame, Rabbids Big Bang, ACID, Carebears Belly Match, Prince of Persia Time Run, Trials Frontier, Hungry Sharks Evolution and Rayman Adventures.
