The area associated with Tsumkwe exhibits notable vegetation and wildlife. Particularly within the Khaudom Game Reserve, [Kaudwane in Tswana], can be seen lion, cheetah, hyena and other large mammals. The African wild dog has notable packs within the Tsumkwe area.
