History

AC Tripoli was initially founded as Olympic Beirut winning the 2003 Lebanese Premier League and appearing in AFC Cup.

Due to financial problems, the club was moved to the Northern city of Tripoli and renamed Tripoli Sports Club. Prime Minister Najib Mikati funds the Team
