Gajendra Singh Shaktawat is a former Indian cricketer. He played for Services cricket team and Railways cricket team in the Ranji Trophy. He also played in the Duleep Trophy.

Retired as Group Captain from the Indian Air Force, he has been President of Rajasthan State Sports Council in the Ashok Gehlot Government from 1999–2004 and currently lives in Udaipur city, India.

Early years

Gp. Capt. Shaktawat was born in the royal house of thikana Baansi near Chittorgarh. He completed his schooling in Udaipur city at the Bhupal Nobles institution.

Career

  1. Joined Indian Air force in the year 1969
  2. War veteran - he saw action from close quarters near the Jaisalmer air force base in the 1971 indo-pak war
