The Thiruvananthapuram Rajdhani (12431/32) is a superfast express train service in India, connecting the national capital New Delhi to Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of state Kerala.

It runs from Thiruvananthapuram Central to Hazrat Nizamuddin. It is the longest running Rajdhani Express train, which covers about 3,131 km (1,946 mi). It has a record for the highest section speed, reaching 104 km/h (65 mph) between Ratnagiri and Sawantwadi Road (225 km or 140 mi in 2 h 10 min). It also gets a speed of 140 km/h (87 mph) between Udupi and Karwar (267 km). It moves at an average speed of 69.43 km/h (43.14 mph) between Delhi and Thiruvananthapuram. It runs the longest non stop run between Kota Junction - Vadodara Junction section (528 km).

Time Table

The 12431 Rajdhani Express leaves Thiruvananthapuram Central in the evening at 19:15 and reaches Hazrat Nizamuddin at 12:40 in the afternoon of the third day. While on the return journey, the 12432 Rajdhani Express leaves Hazrat Nizamuddin at 10:55 in the morning and reaches Thiruvananthapuram Central at 4:55 in the morning of the third day of its journey.

Its hauled by a WAP 5 of Vadodara Shed or a WAP 5/WAP 7 of Ghaziabad Shed between Hazrat Nizamuddin to Vadodara Junction After which a Golden Rock WDP 3A took the train from Vadodara Junction to Thiruvananthapuram Railway Station.
