History
The Pink Society, Theta Phi Sigma Christian sorority, Inc. was founded by Dr. Jessica Wilson-Cole on September 23, 2009 in Montgomery, AL. Theta Phi Sigma Christian Sorority, Inc. provides a place of belonging for women. Theta Phi Sigma also provides women with information on various subjects such as: abstinence, education, etiquette, resume building, and basic computer skills. Theta Phi Sigma is founded on biblical principles and morals which govern the organization and all members. The colors of the organization are Pink & White; pink is the mixture of Red and White. White represents “purity” and Red represents the “Blood of Jesus” which covers the sins of all. The derivative of the Greek letters come from the acronym TPS-The Pink Society. In 2010, a campaign was created to raise the level of awareness concerning Kingdom "Biblical" principles to assist today's youth in living a Christian lifestyle free from sexual promiscuity, alcohol, drugs, and many other stressors that we face in today's society. That campaign is known as The Kingdom Campaign 2010. The first line to cross into Theta Phi Sigma Christian Sorority, Inc. are known as the "Pink Diamondz". The "Pink Diamondz" crossed in the winter of 2009 and the names of these anointed women are: Ashley Broaden, Martina Person, Michelle Belfield Perkins, and Michelle Jones.
