Theodore Conkey (December 11, 1819 – March 17, 1880) was a member of the Wisconsin State Senate and the Wisconsin State Assembly.

Biography

Conkey was born in Canton, New York. He moved to Fond du Lac, Wisconsin in 1841 and was also a pioneer resident of Appleton, Wisconsin. During the American Civil War, Conkey served with the 3rd Wisconsin Volunteer Cavalry Regiment of the Union Army, achieving the rank of lieutenant colonel.

An Episcopalian, Conkey married Cynthia F. Foote in June 1848. They had four children.

Political career

Conkey was a member of the Senate from 1851 to 1852 and of the Assembly in 1857. He was a Democrat.
