The World This Hour is a Canadian radio newscast, which airs weekdays on CBC Radio One. Airing at 4 and 5 p.m. local time on all CBC Radio One stations across Canada, the program presents a 10 minute headline news summary of the day's events as an insert within the network's regional afternoon programs.
The program premiered on November 7, 2005, replacing the network's prior news program Canada at Five.
The program's current host is Tom Harrington. It was previously hosted by Marcia Young and Bernie McNamee.
