The sheffield institute for the recording arts

The Sheffield Institute for the Recording Arts is a recording studio and school, established in 1968 in Maryland, United States.

Contents

The Sheffield started out as a recording studio providing high end professional audio. They currently contain two recording studios, a large one for larger performing groups and a smaller one for solos or small groups.

The Sheffield also has a remote recording studio; a large recording studio that occupies a tractor trailer to record on-site performances. The Sheffield has been doing remote recordings for over 20 years. For the audio segment, they offer digital editing suites and a full sound stage. In 1982, The Sheffield started with a video segment to the business. This segment allows for video duplication and concept completion.
