The company was launched in 2011 under e-commerce incubator Rocket Internet, and is one of Australia’s largest online fashion retailers, creating a growing home-based fashion community. Since its launch date, the brand has become an Australian online fashion retailer which stocks over 700 brands and 50,000 items, including Australian labels sass & bide, Camilla and Marc and Lorna Jane. International brands stocked include J Brand, Nike, Levi’s, Calvin Klein and Adidas, plus UK high street brands, River Island, Dorothy Perkins and New Look. History

THE ICONIC was launched in 2011 by a group of co-founders, including Adam Jacobs, who remains as Managing Director. Former Groupon Australia leader, Patrick Schmidt joined in October 2013 as CEO.

Despite growth and maturation, THE ICONIC still maintains a start-up feel and culture and has a reputation for being pet-friendly, with staff allowed to bring their dogs to work each day. In 2016, THE ICONIC relocated from their original Surry Hills location to an office tower in the Sydney CBD.

Features

THE ICONIC launches over 200 new products each day and offers a wide range of delivery options like 3-hour delivery in Sydney, a same day service to major metro areas and free overnight delivery around Australia and New Zealand with 100-day free returns. Additionally, THE ICONIC has its own magazine.
