Plot

In September 1998, a series of deaths, involving several high school girls, leave a baffled and devastated nation. Although generally considered as random cases of suicide, none of the deceased left a suicide note before jumping from atop the Fujou Building, an old abandoned building due for demolition. The unusual circumstances surrounding the deaths prompted a detective agency, specializing in paranormal occurrences, to launch its own investigation. Headed by the magus Touko Aozaki, the agency dispatches Mikiya Kokuto and Shiki Ryougi to the building only for them to find something sinister lurking within.

In the post-credits scene, while walking with Azaka Kokoto near the Fujo building, Toko remarks that Kirie Fujo probably could not fly that day.
