The couture street view
The Couture is an apartment high-rise in Downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin, scheduled for construction in early 2017 when demolition of the Downtown Transit Center building is completed. The 44-story high-rise will become Milwaukee's fourth tallest building when completed in 2019.

The Couture will feature 302 high-end apartments, 50,000 square feet of restaurant and retail space; and a 570-space parking structure with 147 public parking spaces.

Legal challenge
A local group, Preserve Our Parks, had challenged the project, but withdrew their opposition in August of 2016, allowing the sale of the property and subsequent demolition of the Downtown Transit Center to proceed.
