On 12 February 2016 it was reported that Vaughn Stein would direct a noir thriller film Terminal based on his own script, which would star Margot Robbie. David Barron of Beagle Pug Films and Molly Hassell would produce the film along with Tom Ackerley, Josey McNamara, Sophia Kerr, and Robbie through their LuckyChap Entertainment. On 24 May 2016 Max Irons, Dexter Fletcher, Simon Pegg, and Mike Myers were cast in the film.
Principal photography on the film began in Budapest, Hungary.
