Terlingua Common School District is a public school district based in the community of Study Butte-Terlingua in unincorporated Brewster County, in the U.S. state of Texas.

The district, which also serves Lajitas, has two campuses â Big Bend High School (Grades 9â12) and Terlingua Elementary (Grades PKâ8).
Big Bend High School takes high-schoolers within the San Vicente Independent School District, which serves residents from K through 8.
As of 2007, the Texas State Energy Conservation Office awards Terlingua ISD money due to the colonias served by the district.
In 2009, the school district was rated "academically acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency.
