Takhar is a village in Jalandhar district of Punjab State, India. It is located 8 km from Phagwara, 19.8 km from Phillaur, 30.3 km from district headquarter Jalandhar and 133 km from state capital Chandigarh. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village.
