Takeshi Onaga (翁長 雄志, Onaga Takeshi) (born October 2, 1950) is a Ryukyuan politician and the 7th and current governor of Okinawa Prefecture. He also served four terms as mayor of Naha, the capital city of the prefecture.

He graduated from Hosei University with a B.L. in 1975.

He was elected to the governorship on a platform opposing the relocation of Marine Corps Air Station Futenma within Okinawa, and has been a strident opponent of the base's continued presence in the prefecture, which is supported by both the Japanese and American governments. In October 2015, Onaga revoked the land reclamation permit needed for continued work on the base.
