Saidapuram is located at 14.1667°N 79.7333°E / 14.1667; 79.7333. It has an average elevation of 23 meters (78 feet).

  • After Bandi Venkateswarlu Reddy became Sarpanch for Sydapuram, he did lot of good things to develop the village in all the ways. Especially he spent around 15 lakh rupees of his own money to get Telugu ganga water for the village pond which resolved water scarcity facing by Sydapuram people since long time.
  • Sydapuram is a mandal headquarters, with more than 80 villages in its zone.
  • Sydapuram has Z.P. High School, C.A.M.High School, Intermediate College and B.Ed., College.
  • This village is famous for mica mines in India.
  • It is nearby Gudur, Podalakur, Rapur, and Venkatagiri towns.
  • This mandal comes under the Venkatagiri Constitution.
  • The population is about 10,000+ people; most of the people are farmers.
  • There is one river named Kyvalya near Sydapuram.
  • Siddalaiah Konda is located near Sydapuram approximately 3 km to the northwest. Sthalapuranam reveals that here three rishis, Navakoti Siddalaiah, Nevanatha Siddalaiah and Sarangadhara were doing "Thapssu" and settled as statues. Every year on each Monday of Kartheekam (a Telugu month) many people visit this place as a "Thirunalla". The 2nd and 3rd Mondays are very popular. People offer flowers having any desire in their mind will be kept on the crowns of the statues. A priest makes "Sankhanadam" and prays for sanction of "VARAM". How soon the flowers fall will decide the result.

    There are nine ponds on the top of the hill which contain water all the time. Nature and climate around this place is very calm and enjoyable. At the bottom of the hill there are temples for Navagrahams separately for each graham (unusual), Dakshinamurthy and Saibaba. People from other districts and even from other states like Tamil Nadu visit this place.
