Steven Jesse Maronic is a deceased American football player.

Steve was a two way tackle and placekicker for the North Carolina Tar Heels, in 1938 he was named All American and All Southern Conference whilst helping the Tar Heels to a 6-2-1 record. He was an "iron man" playing almost 60 minutes of every game in the 1938 season. He turned in two of his best performances in front of the New York media against NYU at Yankee Stadium and Fordham at the Polo Grounds. Those games solidified his All-America chances. Maronic hit 13 straight PATs in his final season.
