Stare Koźle [ˈstarɛ ˈkɔʑlɛ] (German Alt Cosel) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Bierawa, within Kędzierzyn-Koźle County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) north-west of Bierawa, 5 km (3 mi) south of Kędzierzyn-Koźle, and 45 km (28 mi) south-east of the regional capital Opole.

In the Silesian plebiscite of 20 March 1921 414 inhabitants voted to remain in Weimar Germany, 236 to join Poland.

Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).

The village has a population of 832.
