Stan Yagiello (born May 4, 1963) is a former American football quarterback who attended William & Mary.

Early life

Yagiello attended Livingston High School in Livingston, New Jersey. He was a member of the state champion baseball and football teams where he was 1st team All-State in 1979 & 1980, and was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the 16th round of the 1981 MLB Draft.

College career

Yagiello chose to pass on baseball and attended The College of William & Mary, where he was a 4-year starter on the football team. Stan also played college baseball and led team with .437 Batting Ave. in 1984.

Washington Redskins

He went undrafted in the 1986 NFL Draft, but was signed by the Washington Redskins and then later was released when the team signed Doug Williams.

Toronto Argonauts

On February 5, 1987 the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League signed Stan.

Montreal Alouettes

After his release from the Argonauts, Yagiello signed with the Montreal Alouettes and was on the final roster when the team departed the league for 2 years.

Pittsburgh Gladiators

He played in the Arena Football League for the Pittsburgh Gladiators in 1987. He was signed after the release of backup Kevin Russell (arena)

Dallas Cowboys

In 1987 was signed by the Dallas Cowboys and later was released when Danny White was resigned to the team.
