Career
Sridevika hails from Tamil Nadu. She made her entrance in Tamil films by pairing opposite Jai Akash in Agathiyan's Ramakrishna (2004) and then opposite Ramana in Anda Naal Nyabagam (2005). Both films had low profile releases, but the actress's performance was well appreciated. During the period, she declined the offer to play the role of Vijay's sister in Perarasu's 2005 film "Sivakasi," stating her preference to only accept leading roles. She subsequently went on to appear in Telugu films like Rajababu, Malayalam films such as Avan Chandiyude Makan (2007), Parthan Kanda Paralokam (2008) and "Manjadikuru" (2012), and Kannada films including My Autograph (2006) opposite Sudeep.
In 2009, she worked on the Tamil drama film Gnabagangal opposite Pa. Vijay and signed on to appear in Samy's Sarithiram alongside Aadhi and Rajkiran. However the film ran into production troubles and did not have a theatrical release. She married Rohit Ramachandran, an airline pilot, in August 2010 and quit the film industry to settle in Dubai.
