Spacetoon English was an English TV channel, owned by the Spacetoon Group that specializes in animation and children's programs, and was an English version of Spacetoon Arabic. Like Spacetoon Arabic, it's a channel with ten planets that determine the varieties and animation with age.
Spacetoon English started broadcasting on April 1, 2005 at 11:00 am and was broadcast from 11:00am to 8:00pm. After the developments have taken place on the channel it transmitted from 09:00 to 21:00. The channel suddenly temporarily stopped broadcasting on Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at 6:00 pm for a week, and returned to the air on Wednesday, August 26, 2009. From then on, it broadcast from 14:00 to 19:15.
On January 1, 2011, Spacetoon English has been closed.
