South Asian Institute of Management

The South Asian Institute of Management(SAIM) is an independent Management Institute based in Nepal. The Institute was opened by a prominent group consisting of industrialists, economists, entrepreneurs, bankers and educationists who had the idea to create a leading institute of learning, research and consultancy in the region. Although it is a profit-making venture the board decided at the onset to retain a majority proportion of the profits (a first in Nepal and maybe the region) towards institution building and the promotion of entrepreneurship including in the future to back any promising business ventures from its own graduates. Although it was only established quite recently, the graduates are amongst the brightest in the market.
