Sorry voor alles, (translated as: Sorry About That) is a game show with candid camera on the Flemish network Eén. It was first aired on 4 September 2016 and hosted by Adriaan Van den Hoof.
In the show, a regular Flemish person is followed with hidden cameras for one month. This person ends up in bizarre situations not knowing they're involved in a conspiracy. The conspiracy is set up by: family members, friends, colleagues, and famous Flemish persons. After one month the person is lured in a television studio where it is revealed that almost everything what happened during the last month was a setup. Next, the candidate participates in a quiz based upon those events. The more questions they can answer correctly, the more prizes they win.
Rounds
Round 1 - Said is said
Some months before the candidate was selected for a preselection for a new TV show (which actually was a fake one). Some days later, the candidate got a letter he was not selected for the show. During the preselection many questions were asked to the candidate. Some of them were about how the candidate would react in some situation or what he would do. The person was later on tested if he actually reacted as claimed.
Round 2 - You can know
The candidate must give answers for questions on which the solution was clearly given during last month.
Round 3 - Estimated value
Three persons must estimate what the candidate did in some absurd situations.
Round 4 - Really happened
The candidate gets a list of three bizarre situations and must guess which one really did happen.
Round 5 - The last chance
The candidate gets one minute to answer True/False-questions about events which were seen during the show.
Some examples
The candidate was a witness at the wedding of her best friend who she didn't see for quite some time. However, the marriage was fake and there were hints. The certificate of marriage clearly stated it was not valid and the ceremony was done by an actor. This resulted the evening party was also fake and almost all of the attendees were actors. Even the groom was not in a relationship with the bride. There were numerous tips such as the name of the wedding dress designer who was called "Fake".
Jacky Lafon brushed the teeth of the candidate's dog as the animal was selected to be on the cover of the monthly magazine Woef.
During the interview for the fake quiz, the candidate told which kind of clothes combination she never will wear. In some shopping centre she met stylist Jani Kazaltzis: he manipulated her in such way she did buy such combination without noticing.
The candidate was the figurehead for the advertising campaign for 'Sorry voor alles. The ads were visible on several big advertising boards in Belgium.
The candidate met her doppelganger who wore exactly the same outfit and accessories.
The candidate, who also works as hosts on parties, was hired for a private party organized by Roel Vanderstukken. The party had an Egyptian theme. The candidate had to drag a snake. Next, she was put into a corsage with a cd which contains Vanderstukken latest song. During the song, the candidate had to leave the corsage and to show the cd. However, the song was never performed as Vanderstukken had to leave early for some urgent matters. The candidate was not informed so she was in the corsage for more than one hour. Furthermore, Vandestukken's (fake) Alzheimer-mother was also present. She was sure her son had a relationship with the candidate. Roel asked the candidate to acknowledge the relationship and to answer all his mother's questions.
Tom Waes took a shower in the house of the candidate and had conversations with the other family members. Remarkable detail: the candidate was at home that time.
The father of a candidate broke his arm so the candidate had to do a lot of tasks in the house and the garden. It turned out the father did not had a broken arm at all and he wore a fake, removable plaster cast.
One of the candidates followed a course diction. He had to say some sentences which were sneakily recorded. Upon these sentences a dance song was written. The song was released and played in some big Belgian night clubs, on national radio station Studio Brussel and even for sale in shops.
Without knowing the candidate played the main role in the new clip of De Romeo's, a successful Flemish music band.
A mini soccer match was held in the garden of the candidate: a match between Antwerp FC and FCO Beerschot Wilrijk
