Plot

Checco has a wife and a son named Nicolò, and works in a vacuum cleaners enterprise in Venice. When the economic crisis begins to hit the quiet family of Checco, he is thrown out by his wife. Nicolò, however, wants a nice summer holiday, and to do this, he takes all good grades in school report. Checco is forced to take him on holiday, although he's very poor, and so chooses the Molise (small Italian region), where Nicolò is very bored. Soon, however, Checco meets a beautiful French girl, a high society woman. Checco falls in love, and so is having fun with Nicolò in the evenings organized by the girl with very important people of finance: Checco will expose all the vices and defects of the Italian economy class!

    The film grossed €18.6 million on its opening weekend. It was number-one for three consecutive weekends. It grossed a total of US$56.7 million, and became the highest-grossing domestic film in Italy in 2013. It is the second highest-grossing film in Italy only to be surpassed by Quo Vado? starring Checco Zalone.
