Sisneri is in Okhaldhunga District in the province no 1 of mid-eastern Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 3542 living in 636 individual households. This VDC is a strong hold of Nepali Congress in district politics. Majority of people leaving here are Rai followed by Bhahmin and Newars. This VDC is also considered as worst VDC in the district according to police report. This VDC is the home to Legendary Baral family. Since few years the reputation of this village is degraded by man like Chakra Bahadur Rai, Jaya Bahadur Shrestha, Narendra Shrestha and Bishnu Khadka. These are the real viruses of this village,
