Sindhu was a film actress who appeared in South Indian films. She is the daughter of actress Manjula's sister Shyamala.

Personal life
She married Shrungara Kaavya film co-actor Raghuveer. Later the couples got divorced. Then she was married to a TV actor Rishi on 2003 and lived in Nungambakkam with him.
Film career
She acted opposite Arun Pandiyan and Prabhu in a few Tamil films. She acted was in the famous Tamil drama Metti Oli which was broadcast in Sun TV from 2002 to 2005. She acted in other TV serials too like Ahalya , Gokulam Veedu, Enga Kudumbam, Thozhigal, Anandham, etc.
Death
She went out on a door-to-door campaign for funds, during the rounds, she seems to have picked up a lung infection and swooned. Due to the infection she died three days later.
