Simon Middleton (born 2 February 1966) is an English rugby union and professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1980s, and 1990s, playing club level rugby union (RU) for Knottingley RUFC[1], and playing club level rugby league (RL) for Castleford, as a wing.

Regal Trophy Final appearances

Simon Middleton played left wing, i.e. number 5, in Castleford Tigers' 33-2 victory over Wigan in the 1993–94 Regal Trophy Final during the 1993–94 season at Headingley Rugby Stadium, Leeds on Saturday 22 January 1994.

Coaching career

Middleton is currently the head coach for both the England women's sevens (RU) and the England women's national rugby union team (RU).
