Sergei Zhigalko (Belarusian: Сяргей Жыгалка, Syarheĭ Zhyhalka; born March 28, 1989 in Minsk) is a Belarusian chess grandmaster. He won the Belarusian Chess Championship in 2009, 2012 and 2013.

Zhigalko won the 2003 European Under-14 Championship and the 2006 European Under-18 Championship. He has competed in four Chess Olympiads (2008, 2010, 2012, 2014).

He competed in the Chess World Cup 2007 as one of the five FIDE President's nominees and was knocked out in the first round by Krishnan Sasikiran.

Sharing fifth place in the 2011 European Individual Chess Championship earned him a place in the World Cup held that year. He lost in the first round to Anton Filippov .

He won the Baku Open in 2011 and in 2012.

At the Chess World Cup 2015 he reached the second round by defeating Ivan Bukavshin in round one and was eliminated by Veselin Topalov.

His brother is Grandmaster Andrey Zhigalko.
