Sascha Segan is the lead mobile analyst for PCMag.com, an online brand for labs-based product reviews, tech news, buying guides, and much more. Sascha has reviewed hundreds of smartphones, tablets and other gadgets in more than 10 years with PCMag. He's spoken about technology on CNN, CNBC, Fox, ABC, the BBC, CBC and CTV, and been cited in newspapers from Edmonton, Alberta to San Antonio, Texas. His commentary won an ASBPE award in 2008.

Segan is also an award-winning travel writer with a decade's worth of experience at Frommers.com and two SATW awards under his belt; his most recent travel project was a 2013 guide to a little-known area near Barcelona, Spain.

Segan lives in Queens, NY with his wife, artist Leontine Greenberg, and their daughter. He is the brother of actor Noah Segan, the grandson of American photographer Arthur Rothstein, and the nephew of musician Rob Stoner.

Segan was one of the most popular child contestants on the 1982-83 game show Child's Play.

Education

Segan has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Yale University.

Sascha Segan has been with PCMag for over 10 years. Prior to joining PCMag, Segan was a technology correspondent for ABC News and a producer for The Washington Post and The Guardian. In 1998, Segan was appointed by The Guardian to help launch the company's Unlimited series of web sites.
